Description
Cats are Liquid - A Light in the Shadows is a minimalist 2D platformer about a liquid cat, locked in a world she doesn't quite understand, trying to get out.
The core of your movement is simple: move, jump, and climb, with your ability to turn into liquid allowing you to squeeze through tight spaces and dash across the rooms at high speeds.
As you play, you'll discover abilities which let you interact with the world in new ways. Break down walls and float high above the obstacles, all while mastering the skill of moving like a liquid cat.
The further you progress, the closer you'll be to discovering the true purpose of these rooms. Will you ever get out?

First of all, The kitty IS SOO CUTE I JUST WANNA SQUISH HER! Second of all, this game is simply beautiful, the story was so engaging I completed all the 3 packs in a single day! The mechanics are simple to understand and I like the plot twist that instead of gaining more abilities, we loose them one by one, and we can feel the kitty’s sadness when it happens (especially with the cube, I felt bad for her.) This game is incredible! The mechanics are beautifully simple while still being challenging enough that it isn’t boring. The story is fantastic, and presented very well. So this game is amazing!! I love it but there is some issues. First, mostly for the gray block, all the buttons are so close together that when I move sometimes I accidentally click the X button which spawns the stupid little grey block which messes up the game play therefore I die because of the stupid gray block. Second.. Jk there isn't a second it's a great game overall. But please fix this and make the buttons smaller :(

I almost never write reviews, but if any game deserves one, it’s this one. I was so obsessed with a platform game that I sat for three hours to finish everything from world 4 to the end of all the versions. I never would have though before that I could feel bad for a small grey cube, let alone from a platform game. This game was absolutely amazing and I cannot believe that it is available for FREE. Probably my favorite offline game ever.

ALitS is a game that has stuck with me for years. It’s incredible gameplay and story stay with the player, and has really interested me.
One thing I would add is maybe more info on the purple one? The story is kind of confusing, so maybe more levels?(Totally the only reason I want more levels)

i love this game. it’s kinda sad especially at the end when it has messages (spoilers for pretty much the entire paragraph) about how it was the cat who locked herself in the closet the whole time. and her claustrophobia. overall it’s a pretty cool game. you gotta use strategies to help you get through stages. this game doesn’t explain the story very clearly, so i’ll just make up my own. i think the cat locked herself in the closet on purpose because she was sad about her owner dying so she died

I personally find this game too hard I mean it’s probably because I don’t really play games like this but I found it impossible especially the vertical level because you can’t slow down when your on the walls so it’s really hard to move at the right time. When I first downloaded this game it was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the different obstacles, colors, levels, abilities and so on. But then one day, I was about to click on the next level I realized that it had erased all my progress and had started me over! I was really annoyed that I had to start all over again. Then a few weeks later when I tried to play Cats are Liquid I saw that it had started me over AGAIN! I hope they fix this problem soon because it’s really upsetting.

Hi! You guys’s game is really cool, and it has an amazing storyline and plot, and the gameplay itself is smooth, and doesn’t lag like tomorrow isn’t gonna come, which is a blessing for me. The only issue I have is Level 1’s Room 8. Whenever I try to jump on there, too many spikes pop up and I can’t get up without wasting all my lives. Maybe you guys could change the room a little?
