Description
Schmetterlinge Deutschlands ist eine App zum Teilen von Beobachtungen über Schmetterlinge aus ganz Deutschland. Für jede Art hält die App Beispielfotos und eine kurze Beschreibung zur Artbestimmung vom Portal www.insekten-sachsen.de sowie einen Link für weitere Informationen zu www.lepiforum.de bereit.
Beobachtungen werden über das GPS-Modul des Smartphones georeferenziert und können mit Foto dokumentiert werden. Die Fundmeldungen können durch den Nutzer mit dem Portal Schmetterlinge Deutschlands (www.lepidoptera.de) synchronisiert werden. Dort erfolgt eine Qualitätsprüfung durch Spezialisten und wenn nötig eine Korrektur der Artbestimmung. Die Fundpunkte werden auf der Deutschlandkarte und die Fotos in der Galerie der betreffenden Art angezeigt. Um alle Funktionen der App zu gewährleisten, wird eine Berechtigung für Kamera, Speicher und Standort benötigt.
