Since the previous version, the following features have been added or updated: All 'Customer messages' labels in the UI have been changed to 'Vehicle Status'. Conversations can be searched for by Tag#. Dealer Messenger language selector added.

Previously, only the service advisor was automatically subscribed to a Dealer Messenger conversation at the time they were assigned to the service lane in Advisor Check-In or wiADVISOR Dashboard. The following changes have been made so that all the users who should be participating in the conversation are subscribed, including technicians and parts department users: - If a technician is specified during the write-up they are automatically subscribed. - In ServiceDashboard, if a primary or alternate technician or service advisor is assigned or re-assigned to the service lane on the Teams tab, they are automatically subscribed. If a user is unassigned from the service lane in Service Dashboard, they are not automatically unsubscribed. - All active parts department users area ssigned to all conversations when the service lane is created (i.e. at the time of write-up). - Automatic subscription updates occur the next time the service lane status changes. A user will only be automatically subscribed if they are an active DealerMessenger user. Note: These enhancements apply to new service lanes only. A new 'Parts Requested auto-trigger' event is available. It is intended as a notification to the parts department that a service lane has been created and parts are needed. This message is sent when the write-up is completed and parts are needed for the RO. It will only be sent if there are parts associated with the approved services. When enabling the message, ensure that the Parts Advisor role is assigned to it. To ensure that the service advisor is the customer's primary point of contact, technicians and parts department users are prevented from seeing or participating in external conversations even if they are subscribed to the service lane. For these users, the "External" sub-tab in Customer Messages is disabled and they are not notified when an external message is received.

To enhance the user experience, the following new features have been implemented: 1. UI button and message enhancements. 2. Message filters: l Unread messages l My Messages (i.e. messages you are subscribed to) l All messages 3. Message search tool. Search based on all or part of customer name, appointment ID, phone number or email.
