Vibe - Make New Friends

I wanted to download this to make a few friends online. However when I was signing up, I was going to put my profile picture on. It said my picture wasn’t clear enough. It had a filter but you could clearly see my face. So I went a took a picture with no makeup and no filter, still it said it wasn’t good enough so I took another but closer, still not good enough so I took another one, and still nothing. I have many pictures of me that show my face clearly but no picture I took was good enough. It’s honestly really irritating. I would just download something else. It wasn’t worth my time at all

I think the app is a good idea to me different people, but the fact that it wants me to pay to see who likes me or wants to be my friend is also kind of the downside of this app, and also randomly disabled my account when I wasn’t even on the appso I’m very concerned about that and what I should do but another thing I don’t like about how many ads there is but the positive side of this app to meet people around the world and some pretty nice to get to know some other people that’s around your age or just in general that have the same interest as you

I usually don’t give bad reviews unless something is genuinely bad. Don’t waste your time with this app. I tried at least 10 images of my face unfiltered and it wouldn’t accept. This took FOREVER since you have to go back and scroll for the image each time just for it to say that it couldn’t find my face when it’s clear as day. When I finally found one that the software accepted, I cropped so my face would be in the middle and then it wouldn’t work. Clearly this is a software issue since my photos are high quality and looked exactly like the example image good lighting and everything. Once I d

I downloaded it to meet new people and was pretty excited, but during setup it requires a photo of your face. Makes sense. Problem is, my face is apparently not acceptable. I tried multiple pictures, I even tried standing in front of a white wall with my lights on high and my eyes wide open and it STILL says it can’t find my face. It’s probably because I have a beard 😑. I dig the vibe of your app, that’s why I gave it more than one star, and would like to use it in the future. If it changes, I will change my review to a more appropriate rating.

First of all, I can’t even really get set up because it won’t accept any pictures that I’m trying to upload the only picture it does except is zoomed in on my chest which I feel very uncomfortable about considering the other pictures were very clear photos of my face this definitely needs to be fixed. This app has a lot of bugs and gives off a creepy vibe in my opinion.. when is someone going to create an app that feels safe for women to make friends in their area? This feels like a red flag to me

When first opening the app I said, hmm I like the colors and the swirls, but then I couldn’t even get past the profile pic. Every time I would click on a photo with my “clear face” it would say “face not detected for a good vibe”. What? Seems stupid but why can’t I just pick any picture I want lol. And then when I finally did get in, I couldn’t stop thinking about how close the app was to other apps for meeting new people (like bumble friends). Not a single picture of me is going through. I have puffy hair. But only a slight bit of it covers my face. It asks for a profile picture and for my face to be front and center and clear… after trying to use several different photos of my face (ones that were super) and even cropping some to be JUST my face so they had an easier time seeing it- didn’t work. I figured, fine, it could be my hair. So here I am at 5:30 in the morning, brushing my bangs to the side and taking photos. None of which worked. I downloaded this app bc it’s marketed as being for friends… but it’s really just a glorified dating app. You can even select dating as an option, as well as looking for a job or networking. Also, it’s a pain to even get registered on the app to check it out. Every photo (of just my face!) was rejected. Then it wanted me to verify my identity. That’s all well and good, but then once on the app, it seems like just another dating app and not a place to build friendship. I think this app needs to decide what it is and stick to it. The swiping setup is not conducive to building friendship imo 💁🏻

Ok, so it started out ok. What threw me off is that there are no bios. I get why since sometimes bios looking for specific things can be problematic, but what if there’s questions that you’re able to answer but they’re specific questions set by the app devs. Another thing that’s off putting is that I set my gender to male and put looking for a relationship, but it only showed girls. I am gay and not attracted to girls, which was off-putting. I think there should be an option to pick which genders you prefer. And a non-binary gender option would be great too.

I downloaded the app and not even a minute into the app my account was removed I’m not sure if it’s because I used a few cosplay photos because I thought it would give my account more personality or because whoever booted me assumed I was lying about my age when I wasn’t. If you really want people to use your app y’all should fix it to be more inclusive and not kick people off the app after one minute of creating their account. The app genuinely did seem like a fun app though until my account got booted off the app and I didn’t even get an explanation or warning as to why it was removed.

I assume this app is still in its early development age because of how little options and settings it has . I downloaded it because of a tik tok ad suggestion since it was being advertised as a good way to make friends and then after creating my account it seems like it was leaning more towards a gen z hook up app. It should have more gender identities than just male or female (it’s 2022 there’s no excuse for it unless you’re purposely trying to exclude that demographic). It doesn’t have any settings for preferences so you can find one or two guys (because for some reason it’s all men) nearby

I was in the app for about 12 seconds and got banned? I think it was cause I was swiping ‘no’ too fast. I wasn’t really looking for dudes- so I was swiping past them. Looking through the reviews I probably wouldn’t have found any gal pals anyways. Note for the devs tho: in the ‘verification’ part of sign up, if you follow the prompts to turn on camera permissions, you will need to start the sign up process over again once you return. I downloaded this app to see what it was about to make some friends and first off you can only choose between female and male it doesn’t ask your gender orientation or sexuality I chose only for friends and all they are showing me are guys rich yes I can be friends with guys but also show me some other people… please it would be nice if this app was all inclusive to people of all different backgrounds. It felt very heterosexual and backwards and it’s way while it’s also geared to young people it sucked

I have been using this app for awhile now. And I enjoy it and I really like the overall layout of the app. However I do have a few small issues with it. After being on the app for some time it gives me a insane amount of ads the ads don’t pop up at all much when I swipe peoples profiles. But when I go to chat with people it immediately starts spamming me with annoying ads. So I’m not sure if it’s a bug or what, but please fix it. I also think it would be awesome to be able to see who likes your profile without paying. So if those two things could be fixed that would be awesome. Overall though

I got this because it looked cool, and i kept that opinion up until i was making my account! I’m Non-binary, so my first problem was when i was prompted to pick “male or female”. thats one thing that has to change. I really liked the idea of collecting “vibes” and being able to see how alike you are to someone! However, i did notice something that really killed the experience for me. At the gender prompt, I marked it as female, because thats the closest to what I am, but I am not attracted to men. from the few minutes of swiping I took, there was only men. i downloaded this app w the hope that i might be able to make some friends close to my age! since being an introvert in real life doesn’t allow for as much smooth and calm interactions as you would like. the few downsides of the app is that it doesn’t allow you to put your sexual orientation, which is what makes swiping on people confusing when they have “just a fling” or “looking for love.” i think that also allowing users to put their preferred pronouns would be nice to have. my other small suggestion might might just be bc of the balance between male and female users that have downloaded th

This app is honestly the best app to find proper to interact with people in your area and around the world. There are a couple things features that should be added. 1st when swiping and you “like” someone, they disappear so you use all ability to interact with them. This missing feature also affects the ability to message them. 2nd a feature that allows you to edit your searches to find the best matches. Example: age, location, basic appearances that you can filter to find the best match.

I like the fact that you can see what people are looking for, friends, fling, etc. However I wish i could customize the recommendations I get because if i could set an age range i think i would get a lot more out of it. I also wish there was room for a short bio in your profile because I can’t advertise wanting xbox friends, and things like that. Overall It’s a pretty good place to talk to people. I appreciate that the app is 17 and under because it helps facilitate safer interactions over the internet.

Personally I like that app way better than the other ones but instead of making us pay to see who likes us, we should just have to watch an add or something because it’s just an app to met people like if you help get a boyfriend thx😂 but like I don’t wanna play just to see who likes me yk. This app seemed like a good idea to download but once I started liking people, people started to like me back and when I went to go see who did, It says I have to pay to see who likes me, so basically there is no point in having this app on my phone anymore, cause “the the main purpose of the app is to match with people” Wrong! The main purpose of this app to to take your money for something that should be completely free. So for the love of god can someone please tell me if there is another way to match with people, cause this makes me so angry 😡. So until I get an answer your rating from me
