This is a great app! Doesn’t overdue it with adds and best way to find all free items from the various social media sites that a local buy and sell and free items are available! The only thing I would change is the way you back out of an image, instead of always needing to hit the x button it would be nice to swipe the image page away!

Too much trash

People are putting trash on here that l think just needs to be recycled instead of putting it on here hoping someone will pick up and discard their trash. Just put usable items on here. Sofas, chairs , etc that is put out on the curb when they are calling for rain is not smart. A lot of times things are out and get rained on making them unusable for anyone. And if it’s cloth covered items, then bugs, fleas, etc can infest them.

Does not delete claimed items

I would love to give this app a five star review. But I hate that you can't see that an item has already been claimed until you click on it. Such a waste of time. Either REMOVE the items that have been marked CLAIMED, OR at least show it in the listing without having to click on it. That would be best, as people won't be searching for an item they saw that is no longer listed. It's not the sellers fault if the app doesn't make it clear.

Potential to be one of the best apps of human history

There’s a lot of absolute nonsense on this app, there has to be some sort of way to mitigate looking at a sea of junk posts - the addition of filters is absolutely necessary from both sides (a filter section for what y you would like to see - perhaps get notifications for totems that “may h” your “description” which could be in the guise of a series of “filters” or perhaps “key words” that the poster can “tag” and vice versa add items for free under filters. Filters and tags and /or key words could be added by the community of users as we go. Etc….

Very useful but “do not disturb” on iOS needs to change

I have found this app to be very useful. For a family moving into a home, you can find pieces to fill the home until you find your perfect piece to buy. A college student would also benefit to outfit temporary housing. A gardener can also find tools and decorations. My only issue with the iOS version is that you have to pick the number of hours to not be notified when “do not disturb” on the phone is enabled. Because “do not disturb “ is enabled while driving that presents an issue if you also use “do not disturb” during your sleep time. The iOS version should not have a time associated with “

Back on the person that trying to give item away. Is there a way to not post items when there for sale and not for free. Problems with app

So many people are using this app to sell things. They put $0 on their post but in the description say the prices for their items. It is a flagrant violation of guidelines yet non of the posts ever get taken down. It is now at the point where there is a 30% chance it is not free at all. I try to correct as many people as possible but many are hostile and tell me to mind my own business. Why is no one monitoring this?

Love but….

I love this app, but iPhone and other devices have changed their settings so you have to have a payment on file. I don’t like to do that due to fraud and I don’t like my kids using my phone accidentally creating charges. Also this is a free app so it’s not necessary so I went online to the website and the only option is the app and it’s forcing me to put a card for payment on file even though this app uses absolutely no payment! If I can’t get the app because I’m not comfortable uploading a new payment method, I should be able to go through the website website at least! There’s too much fraud

It's a great app, and I have loved it for a while, but more often than not, I get alerts 10-20 minutes after the item has been listed, and it's already claimed half of the time. I've also had issues with seeing an item still on the app, but it's marked as pending on some of the sites. It's a bit misleading, and annoying to encounter. If there's anyway the developers can fix the delay in alerts, and possibly add a pending update on items, that would be helpful.

Simply the best app for finding free stuff locally. Every single time I try to answer the one who posted on something I like it keeps saying go back. I have only been able to get to some. I don’t know why, but the app won’t allow me to DM with people who want my free items. Only email. Not everyone checks their emails regularly or may give emails they don’t use often. I do like the app a lot. You can get really good stuff for free. Definitely helps these days. The only negative I would say is I see more and more listings that are business advertising or actually selling goods. It’s supposed to be just for free items. It would be so nice if the listings that are outdated more than two weeks old would be deleted.
