New Updates and Improvements • Videos can now be manually removed from Continue Watching via the context menu. • Series are now displayed in search results. • Added a Series badge to the thumbnail of videos belonging to a Series. • Under-the-hood architecture changes reduced app size by 10MB and improved the launch speed of the app. • Context menus are now snappier thanks to improvements to their internal logic. Bug Fixes • Fixed a bug showing inaccurate download states in the context menu. • Fixed a bug with video progress syncing that could result in inaccurate progress data. • Resolved an issue that could display duplicated products in channel stores. • Corrected layout and stability issues in the sign up flow. Note We have dropped support for iOS 16. Users on this version can continue using previous app versions, or access Nebula through your browser.

This release brings a handful of UI refinements, as well as some significant under-the-hood changes to in-app purchase to improve reliability. Improvements • Search results now display section headings for videos and channels. • Tile sizes in Lastest Videos have been tweaked for a more balanced layout. • Content badges on Home have been updated for better visibility. • Background audio is now enabled by default. If you previously changed this setting, your existing preference has been preserved. • In-app purchase got a significant rewrite that should have no user-facing impact other than improved reliability. Bug Fixes • Fixed layout issues with hero tiles on Home.

Minor release focused on bug fixes and polish: • Improved our overall handling of airplane mode: • Corrected an issue where connection interruptions could log you out of the app and prevent you from logging back in. • Addressed connectivity issues that could prevent video playback on certain networks, such as in-flight Wi-Fi. • Fixed a bug where the app Settings button could disappear after watching a video in fullscreen. • Expanded video descriptions should no longer display over the video in fullscreen mode. • Known issue: simultaneous downloads may fail; we’ve added diagnostics to help investigate for a future fix. Creators can now recommend what to watch next after any of their videos. Creator picks are identified with a "Recommended by" label to differentiate them from Nebula recommendations. Other improvements: Fixed a bug where tapping the Home tab while scrolled would not properly scroll to the top of the view.

This release focuses on stability improvements and bug fixes, with particular attention to Chromecast functionality. General Improvements • Fixed a bug where multiple audio tracks would play simultaneously after an alarm, timer, or Siri interaction. • Addressed a crash that could occur when seeking to a new position in the video player. • Fixed crashes that could occur when opening the Explore tab or switching between tabs. • Resolved an issue preventing iPad keyboard shortcuts from working. Chromecast Specific Improvements • Resolved an issue where previously watched videos would start near the end when casting. • Corrected an issue that added an empty tab to the tab bar when casting a video. • Fixed a bug where the Chromecast mini-player failed to appear on iOS 18 devices.

This release brings Show Less functionality to mobile. Users can now choose “Show less from this channel” via the context menu on certain algorithmically-generated rails in Home. This action reduces how often videos from that channel appear in that view. Additional updates: • Standardized spacing for rail titles on Home • Improved scroll animation for the new episodic channel layout • Fixed an issue where the trailer button appeared on film channels without trailers • Fixed a bug that could occasionally hide thumbnail previews of shared videos • Corrected an issue that caused certain channel titles to be sorted incorrectly in channel lists

Introducing a redesigned channel view for episodic content. Enjoy a fresh layout with richer imagery, expanded details like season and episode lists, cast and crew info, and bonus content. This view dynamically updates to track your progress, making it easy to pick up right where you left off. Other updates in this release: • Added additional diagnostics to help track down the disappearing downloads issue. Please continue reporting any occurrences of this.

• Further addressed the disappearing downloads bug—iOS should now delete downloads less frequently. Please continue to report issues where downloads disappear. • Added support for Bluesky and Reddit links on the Channel view. • Improved our handling of a rare playback error that could block all subsequent videos from loading in a session. Closing the player and selecting a new video should now resolve it. • Optimized internal architecture to make Home load faster. • Fixed a bug that prevented the Share action from working within context menus on iPad.

Introducing a redesigned channel view for Nebula Original films. This layout showcases richer imagery, provides space for more information—including artwork, cast and crew details, and bonus content—and lets you follow an upcoming Original channel to catch announcements or trailers leading up to the film’s release. Some other smaller changes in this release include: • Added additional diagnostics to help identify the cause of downloads disappearing for some users. • Fixed a cosmetic issue with the expandable description button in the podcast show view. • Corrected a bug that erroneously hid episode descriptions from the podcast player under certain conditions. • Addressed a few crashes that could happen due to a lack of date validations.

Minor technical release focused on adjusting default configurations. Previous release notes: Implemented a new side navigation menu for iPad along with a number of small improvements and bug fixes: • Reduced app backup sizes by 10x. • Updated widgets to fully support iOS 18's tint mode. • Changed default skip durations in the podcast player to 15 and 30 seconds for rewind and fast forward respectively. • Fixed a bug where the playback speed indicator was not updating correctly between videos. • Fixed a video player crash that could occur when voice over was enabled.
