Universal Remote supports hundreds of models with various operating systems and screen resolutions, ranging from basic models no longer in manufacture to 2021 novelties with the most powerful hardware. The remote differs depending on not only the Smart TV manufacturer but also the type of operating system. Touchpad Instead of Buttons. We are confident that navigation with swipe gestures is much more convenient than by pressing regular "down" or "right" buttons, not distracting you from the most important thing: searching for your favorite movie or series on the TV. Still Can’t Turn the TV On? In a word, you can, but under one condition. Most new Smart TV models support the Wake-on-LAN function. It is possible only if you had already been connected to the TV earlier. Therefore, when using the application for the first time, you will need a hardware remote control. After that, you can use your Universal Remote. Premium Subscription You can subscribe for unlimited access to Premium features. Subscription is $19.99 yearly. Prices are equal to the value that "Apple's App Store Matrix" determines is the equivalent of the subscription price in USD. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings after purchase. Suddenly locked the app unless I pay for the premium (which I don’t want)
This app WAS great, even with the ads…. Until a couple days ago when it suddenly decided to only preview the premium version of the remote and lock the entire app unless I pay? I don’t want to use the premium version of the remote, the original worked just fine for me.

I love this
I’ve searched everywhere for a free TV remote app because I lose my remote all the time. Every other app I tried required a subscription or payment, but this one actually works without forcing you to spend money. There are optional upgrades available, but they’re not required, which I really appreciate. I’m honestly considering buying the upgrades because I love this app so much, and now my family uses it too. I almost never leave reviews, but this app impressed me enough that I felt like I had to. Pretty useless
I couldn't find enough information before purchasing this so I gave it a shot, hoping it would work for my needs. I wanted to be able to type in words for searches and have a remote when the physical one was lost. It doesn't do either of those things as it doesn't type in words despite having a keyboard and you need your TV remote to allow the remote app to access the tv.

Held my TV hostage
It worked ok but I didn’t use it often so I cancelled the subscription. Last night I was watching TV (with the actual remote that came with the TV) and this stupid app had opened and somehow locked out my actual physical remote. It then had the audacity to insist I pay for the subscription before it would let me do anything. I obviously did not. I refuse to negotiate with terrorists! I am in the process of resetting my entire TV right now and I obviously have deleted this app. I just wanted to let everyone else know it might do this to you as well.

Terrible never stayed synced
Find another remote app that doesn’t require you to authenticate the remote again and again. Almost every time I use this I have to re authenticate on tv using actual remote, tv buttons not allowed. After about 10 clicks yet another ad and most are broken and unable to click out of it unless you know the trick to make it happen. Useless app

No trial option and doesn’t work without a physical remote
I had to choose between a weekly subscription or a yearly one. After I chose one of the options it told me I needed a physical remote to accept the conditions on my tv. If I had a physical remote I never would’ve downloaded the app in the first place. Waste of time and money.
