played alot of plague inc. and this really scratches the itch if you know what i mean. I love all the scenarios and difficult choices you have to make. The only thing i would change is to give us the option for our operation to be endless and have other foreign/domestic issues try to tank or retaliate your region. Like a “fallout after the war” scenario. I also would love to see a better UI this game feels high quality so the UI design should reflect that. a nice update to fonts and text boxes. What more do you need? Usually you probably play a mobile game to kill time and this is one of the best ones. For a reasonable price get access to an intense strategy game that makes you really focus hard to please the people and keep the insurgents at bay. So like most people here I got this because I like plague inc and wanted to see what this game offers. Now, this game is not really like plague inc which is fine. It’s more like the “cure mode” with having to maintain a reputation or lose and whatnot. However, I’m only giving this game 2 stars because it’s difficult but not in a good way. You’re given a quick tutorial and then thrown into maps with so many mechanics and horrendous RNG you’ll lose right away without knowing why. This game is very fun and engaging for a mobile game. However I must say that some mechanics in the game are very challenging to deal with and make some matches next to impossible to win. This game is very fun but it’s easy to get frustrated as there are many complex systems that need to be accounted for to have a well rounded game. Once you pass the learning curve, the hard levels are a matter of determining which strategy works best. Do you need to focus on ending insurgency or promoting stability? While it seems like a good game, it needs a ton of balancing issues. First off, corruption goes up way too fast and is hard to bring down, the insurgents spring up way too quick and can quickly become nearly impossible to deal with. The insurgents are so overpowered you need 3-4 units of troops to beat one unit of insurgents, because if you don’t have every zone around the zone the insurgents are attacking, they’ll run around the map the whole game and kill your reputation and you lose. This game is very fun and has quite a lot of depth to it. Beating the main maps on brutal or mega-brutal requires a healthy understanding of the games systems, but often also a lot of good RNG. You'll eventually stumble into Pravus' standard build that, with limited exceptions, is required in order to win on mega-brutal. Been playing for a few days on different different difficulties and I have a few comments. For one, the insurgents are legit insane. The whole “surround to destroy” is pretty dumb. You already have to spend a good amount to train Coalition or National soldiers with Nationals taking forever to train. Plus coalition leaves after a time anyways. Very fun strategy game! Takes thought, at higher levels need to strategize, hold off on immediately fighting insurgents until you have them surrounded so you know you can defeat them quick so it doesn’t tire your soldiers out fast, better to box in the insurgents early. Wait until they are fully surrounded to engage. Garrisons are worth an early investment. Invest in the two ‘gathering intel’ things right off the bat to uncover as much of the map as possible from the get go. Much harder to defeat insurgents in zones with no intel. This game is fun and all till you think more about it. Its all about the Middle East why not other countries? Makes the assumption that the middle east is broken. Very Good But Also Ludicrous

I've been playing Rebel Inc. nearly since the day it was released and I haven't stopped playing it. It's a very good and innovative game with a high replay value. Concept, graphics and sounds are superb. You will be challenged, defeated and eventually hear yourself curse. This game takes time to master. A lot of time... I’ve only played one round on casual so far and it was EXHAUSTING (lol) but if you’re looking for something to make your mind work that is still fun, you’ve found it! I wouldn’t call this a “casual” game, you definitely need to be able to pay attention and weight each option properly when presented with a choice. I’ve been of fan of this developer since Plague Inc. When I heard they were making a new game using similar game mechanics about rooting out an insurgency, I though it sounded like a great idea. And it does. Sadly, this game is just way too difficult to enjoy. I consistently find myself pinning the insurgents in a corner of the map, yet I’ll still be hemorrhaging support from the locals because of “low stability.” I understand that the point is to take your time and stabilize regions overtime, but I feel like if you have successfully got the insurgents stuck in a corner with their back against

If you want to make the OPFOR so sporadic and give them the ability to squirt past Coalition and National groups like they do. Then the player needs the ability to buy more than 4 National Militant groups. Fighting large groups on both sides of the map is an automatic restart. Air strikes are pretty much useless except to kill civilians and destroy encampments.. Pros are, I love the complexity of the game itself. It’s absolutely a thinking game.
