Our JSA/JHA app helps to identify potential hazards and implement controls to minimize your risks. Conducting a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) or Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) is one of the best ways to determine and establish the proper work procedure. Contractors use JSA’s to eliminate and prevent hazards in their workplaces which can lead to fewer worker injuries and illnesses. Improved work methods also reduce workers’ compensation costs and help increase productivity. The JSA can also be a valuable tool for training new employees in the steps required to perform their jobs safely. Here’s how it works… Simply, open our app and enter the required data (JSA Name, Location, Sections, etc.). Then, type in the individual tasks needed to complete the job. Next, enter the potential hazards associated with each task using our predetermined hazards list, or enter your own custom hazards. Lastly, enter the controls needed to mitigate the hazards, again selecting from our predetermined list, or enter your own custom controls. Preview your report; if it looks good, simply hit the Submit button and your JSA will be delivered via email in PDF format. It’s really that simple! The app allows you to capture photos and assign them to individual tasks. And, if you need to edit the JSA, simply select it from the JSA library to easily make updates as needed and then resubmit it.
