We’ve added full Dark Mode support across the iOS app. This personalization option lets you view the app the way you prefer. For users who are sensitive to bright screens, it also provides a more comfortable way to interact with the app. We’ve also introduced a new Personalization page, accessible from your Account settings. From here, you can choose your preferred theme, toggle Dark Mode on or off, or set it to follow your device settings, giving you full control over how the app looks and feels.

We’ve brought the full Service Learning experience to your mobile device. Students can now manage their entire service learning journey from the app, making it easier to stay on top of their Service Learning requirements on the go. - Students can create and manage Service Learning activities with categories, approaches, and date tracking, keeping everything organized in one place. Reflections and evidence can be captured in the moment with photos, videos, files, links, and notes, so students can document experiences while they’re still fresh. - A visual timeline chart, completed hours donut chart, and Learning Outcome progress bars give students a clear picture of where they stand across all activities. - Supervisor reviews can be requested and tracked directly in the app, removing the need to coordinate outside the platform. - The All Reflections page brings together every reflection across all activities with filters for Starred, Authors, and Learning Outcomes, making it simple to review work when preparing for programme completion. - All reflections can be exported to PDF for easy sharing and submission. - Coordinator-defined Service Learning questions can be viewed and answered in-line, helping students complete programme requirements on their own time. - Documents related to the Service Learning worksheet can be accessed and managed from a dedicated tab. This update also includes bug fixes and performance improvements.

This update introduces Portfolio Reflections for students in the ManageBac app, making it easier to capture learning and thinking on the go. Students can now document their progress through photos, videos, audio, and written reflections, creating a richer record of their growth and learning journeys. This update also adds support for AI translations in China, helping multilingual schools communicate more effectively and stay connected. AI translations are available for Chat messages, Portfolio and Class Stream posts and comments, as well as Class, Year Group, and Group Discussions. Finally, this release includes general bug fixes and improvements to deliver a more reliable experience.

Class Stream Post-Moderation We’ve added support for Post-Moderation to Class Streams to help schools create a safer, more supportive learning space. Teachers can now review student posts before they appear, giving them greater control over what’s shared and when. This update also encourages growth and reflection. Teachers can return posts with feedback, helping students improve their work before it’s posted to the Class Stream. Post-Moderation helps reinforce the Class Stream as a space for learning, feedback, and growth.

We’re excited to introduce Standards Tagging on the Class Stream, a new way for teachers to connect student work on the Class Stream directly to Units and Curriculum Standards. This creates a connection between the Learning Outcomes covered in the class and students’ evidence of learning. Teachers can tag any standards available on ManageBac, including IB, PYP Scope & Sequences, Pearson, Cambridge, and all Atlas Standards, ensuring comprehensive coverage across programmes. By tagging standards, teachers can highlight the skills and competencies demonstrated by students, creating a clear connection between teaching and learning. Together, these updates empower teachers to connect learning to the curriculum, identify gaps in skill development, and gain meaningful insights into student progress.
