Stopped working and had to re-pair after 8 months. Not the worst if you are next to the lights. But when you buy remote lights, I would think it’s because you are not always currently at that location. If you live in the same spot I would give 5 stars. But because I had to drive 5 hours to repair. Not the best

I followed the instructions to change the device location, but the app always saves my current location instead of the location I selected on the map. Therefore, the temperature estimate is always 5 to 10 degrees different from the actual temperature where the device is. Thus, it’s impossible to set up the smart automation based on temperature.

If this system worked consistently, that would be great, but it doesn’t. The devices constantly lose connection and need to be reconnected to Wi-Fi. It’s not a problem with my Wi-Fi. I have a very strong mesh system. I have 88 Topgreener devices (switches, dimmers, plugs and relays) installed so my connection issues are not isolated to just a few devices; it seems that all devices are unreliable. The app could also use a UX update. When you have 20 or so rooms the slider menu is really not ideal. A list menu would be much better when you have this rooms configured.

Stop harassing me for feedback

With age, apps and products should get better. Not this company. When this company’s first products came out, it wasn’t difficult to setup and connect to Alexa echo devices. I just bought a set of wall plugs like the ones I bought before, but they will not connect with the new app, the olds don’t connect, only one switch connected to the app and I can’t share it with my Alexa app. No online help solves my problems. I’m never buying another one of these again. I’m literally going to replace the of 25 devices that I got working with a name brand stuff that will work seamlessly with my echoes

If you are traveling in a different time zone, let’s say in the other part of the world, your lights will go on/off in your traveling time zone and not the time zone of where you live! I tried stopping location access while I was traveling but it keeps on using the time zone where I am at and not the time where it should be be. Also, during a power outage, the switches are very finicky and the light brightness usually goes to 0%.

It would be nice if these devices could work with Apple HomeKit, Google and Samsung automation. I get the feeling it only works with this app on this phone.

Still not able to scroll monthly usage page on an iPhone SE. Please fix.

My phone offloaded the app so I re-downloaded it. Upon opening TG, I was logged out. I tried logging back in with my email to no avail. When using the forgot password feature, it said my account “does not exist”. My account basically just disappeared into thin air after 2 years. Highly disappointing as I will now have to re-make my account and reinstall each individual plug.

There’s like 3 shortcuts no widgets no apple home kit nothing. I would much rather not use this app

I’ve had these in constant use for years now. They’re absolutely 100% functional, without any issues at all. I’m amazed. And a customer for life.

Registration in app and on the website does not work. Do not use or buy this product. This app should not be behind a login, the user should simply connect to outlets they have authorized by pressing the button and pairing.

Works great except that the Alexa app doesn’t sync up.

Sometimes when I go to turn off/on one switch it will flip the wrong one. I’ve been dragging down on the page to refresh before I toggle; seems to help. The app and hardware I have show current usage stats and history. That is why I selected the hardware that led me to this app. Do wish I could see more detail, ‘zoom in’ on the time/date, but am overall happy with what I got.

I bought the energy monitoring smart outlets to help me see how much energy my appliances were using. The outlets work great for my needs and were easy to set up. The reason I only rated this a 4 star was because the app in general is decent but there's some things that are missing I think would be nice to have. 1) getting a widget for the app would be nice, and not just one that can turn the outlets on/off but one that you can put the energy output in as well, so you wouldn't have to open the app just to see that. 2) some way to "lock" the power button in the app. The devices I have hooked

I had a plug-in wifi timer and one day after of about having it all set up with the same things for about 5 years I woke up and one of my circuit breakers was tripped after looking into the problem if found out one of the plugs melted along with my wall outlet both were melted together The only thing I would recommend if you have one that you use everyday you might considering replacing it I was saved by my circuit breaker

You need to fix the app so it adjusts the on and off schedule for daylight saving time… Would have given you five stars… Other than that you’ve got a great product

We cannot find any information on what the app allows me to do when I have the wifi single relay switch attached to my fan. Can I adjust speeds, only turn on the fan or light separately and also control the fan speeds? The app is great for wall switches.

Ok, just wrote a review and then searched by most recent. My review didn’t show up. Guess that means you are vetting bad reviews for TOPGREENER. Would like to tell people that the product was good but unusable due to a crappy app. Guess you want $ from topgreener more than negative input. Will search somewhere else for a better smart switch.

I have a TOPGREENER switch on an industrial fan in our mountain home. It’s a whole house fan and instead of AC we turn on our fan in the evening. The fan is located on the opposite end of the house from our bedroom. Temps have been climbing during the days but evenings are always cool. Over the years I’ve tried several remote switches but they either are not suitable for the power draw or I can only connect one phone app for my on and off in the wee night. TOPGREENER allows both my wife and I to have the ability to control our fan with our own phones. Big deal- big comfort.

this app is very very good. Only wish I could still buy the power outlet devices on Amazon. What happened?

I’m very pleased with the functionality and reliability of this plug. Had it since mid 2020 to track the energy used by my plug in hybrid Prius. I charge the car whenever needed and the unit has consistently provided data and has retained that data since I first purchased it. Kudos to the company.

Been about 4 years since I have installed and used TOPGREENER and it has worked flawlessly. Highly recommend!

These plugs are great and will work anywheres
