myID is the Australian Government’s trusted Digital ID app.
Join millions of Australians nationwide in choosing myID as your trusted way to access government services. Use your myID for a secure and convenient way to prove who you are when accessing government online services. It’s like the 100-point ID check, but on your smart device. No sharing of your physical personal ID documents.
Access a wide range of federal, state and territory government online services with the myID app. One app to verify who you are, taking the hassle out of remembering different usernames and passwords. Once set up, you can enable your device’s biometrics security feature such as fingerprint or face for added security. This is to protect your identity and help prevent other people accessing your information.
Your personal information won’t be shared without your permission – putting you in control. myID is accredited by the Australian Government Digital ID System which strictly controls how your identity data is collected, stored and used.
Your myID is unique to you – don’t share it with others.
