The Allina Health app puts your health information at your fingertips and makes managing your health care quick and simple. The app also gives you turn-by-turn directions to and around multiple Allina Health hospitals so you can confidently find your destination.
Download the Allina Health app for quick access to the following:
• access your health records through MyChart
• schedule and manage appointments
• communicate with your care team via secure messaging
• get turn-by-turn directions to and around multiple Allina Health hospitals
• find a doctor or care location
• share biometric data with your provider via Apple Health app, using the Track My Health activity
To access health record information (MyChart) you must be an Allina Health patient and have an Allina Health account. If you already have an account, you are ready to use all features of this app. To create an account with Allina Health go to allinahealth.org.
You do not need a username or password to get directions, find a health care provider or a location.
Includes support for Apple Health app for integration with your personal medical record. As part of this feature, there is built‐in integration to collect data, such as step count, calorie intake, blood pressure, or blood glucose, from other health and fitness apps and incorporate it into a patient's medical record.

I am a visually impaired user of my chart, and I have to say this is the least user-friendly application I have come across. My chart and other organizations has been accessible and user-friendly, but this one is not! if I ever if I needed to find something quickly, my chart is not what I would use! I have attempted to ask that this site be made accessible, and my request falls on deaf ears! T
★★★★★ Useless — Crazy Clicker
I want to make an appointment with my primary care provider. So I tap on “make an appointment with a provider you’ve seen before”. I am prompted to choose what I need to be seen for. The options are all highly specialized things like dermatology and lab appointments. There is no option for a basic office visit. I have only been seen by one provider before and she doesn’t even offer these options.
So I go to try making an appointment with a provider I haven’t seen before. Here, primary care is

I actually did not mind this app when my account was working. However, for some reason, my account login page says “something went wrong “. When I called the provided technical support number (in the app), the IT department was very unconcerned about the situation.
The representative said they were aware of the problem, that it had been going on for months, and that a ticket had been submitted with their developer.
However, they could not provide a time frame for a fix. This lack of concern is

This app is extremely frustrating. It’s not user friendly. I just want to make an appointment with my regular doctor or doctors on my care team, and I can’t find them easily or at all if they’re not part of ALLINA. The other problem is that I get locked out and can’t even access it. My app is connected to saved passwords and automatically connects when it sees my face. This one locks me out instead.

I’ve had mostly good experiences and care from Allina but this app started bloody terrible and it’s not improved over several years. It never improves or if it does it’s incremental and then gets worse somehow. Big issues just scheduling with doctors I’ve seen before, and the module for seeing someone new is an even worse nightmare. Here’s a case where just an old fashion call beats what’s being offered here. Wonder how many hundreds of thousands of dollars Allina is spending to keep this garbag

I will remove my review if this gets fixed but as of this past week when I updated the app it has not worked at all. It crashes anytime I try to open the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times and nothing fixes it.
Can somebody please fix this app? It’s so frustrating that every time I was opening the app I got a message saying I needed to update and then when I updated it it killed it!

Update. Emailed them. Sent them a note. Tried to complain. Nothing. They don’t even bother to reply. Since it’s medical this is serious. What a horrible developer they should be ashamed of themselves.
I don’t know why I am not getting any contact to fix this. I see other people get a developer response when they say how wonderful it is. I have a serious problem how come I’m not getting a developer response.

I often have a hard time getting this app to open! It frequently says the server is unavailable or it can’t load the area I need “at this time.” But it’ll say that over and over again on different days and times.

This app used to work ok, nothing special but still mostly functional. Now it’s just garbage. You can’t sign in. Even attempting to change your password is not intuitive and even when you get to the correct place it still doesn’t help. Your new or updated password still won’t work.

I keep getting shut out. Spent at least 30 mins with Randy tonight; trying to change my password again! She was delightful
and worked through to get back into the system! The minute I hung I could not get in again. This has been going on since Dec. 6. I have had numerous failed logins and have tried to get it up and running, but to no avail. I was told inDec, that your system was changed and that there were bugs in it. I am going off your system! you can call me to schedule appointments.

I’ve been with Allina for 10+ years, and I don’t know if I will continue with them anymore. I have to pay $49 to send a message to my doctor?!?!? That’s ridiculous! The app has steadily degraded to now become completely unusable showing white text on light grey backgrounds making it unreadable.
This app used to be easy to use.
The website has not worked in well over two years with no fixes in sight and excuses and suggestions that don't make sense or don't apply, clearly just guesses.

The latest update is making the app not work. The dates no longer show up for future or past appointments. Also it’s really hard to schedule an appointment through the app.. should be able to pick any practitioner- not just the ones you’ve seen in the past.

Loaded new version and it no longer puts dates on future appointments very frustrating when trying to schedule appointments and not being able to see in the future what are the other appointment you have scheduled. Also doesn’t put dates on past appointments so when you want to look back at some old record you don’t know which one you need to go to

I use the app to refill prescriptions, add appointments to my phone calendar, and message my doctors primarily. I’ve already emailed regarding the app closing me out while writing a message to a doctor forcing me to rewrite from the start. Now I can’t seem to add scheduling events to my phones calendar from the app using the button/feature either. I used to depend on that both for reminders and because that calendar is automatically shared with my spouse.

All of the things that I was supposed to do … it doesn’t work for me I’m not ever able to schedule because the options don’t match what I’m scheduling for and my doctor doesn’t come up I can’t schedule a psychiatry I don’t have access to any of my charts files or anything and communication is lagging I can’t start a new conversation with my doctor and it takes forever for him to get back to me it’s short and impersonal

I’m given prompts to pay a bill, but there’s no way to do so in the app. Seems more like broken feature than a missing feature. Also, I’ve tried to do to telehealth appointments with video with my provider through this application. The first time it worked well; the second time it didn’t work at all. It was the same provider both times, I followed the same steps both times, and the app was fully up-to-date both times. Other than these two things, a very helpful app.

I downloaded this for a virtual appt (as instructed by their website) and every time I tried to begin the session the app would crash and go to the home screen. I called the support number and they just told me to use a computer instead because their app had been “immediately crashing for iPhone users lately”. Given the circumstances this is unacceptable, setting some people’s health care back weeks or months to get an appointment they can’t even utilize.

Before the recent update, you could see billing details and pay your bill through the app. Now with the new update there is no option to do this on the app anymore.

I previously had this app on my iPhone and it worked just fine I deleted the app for a while now I’m trying to download the app again and everytime I go to login it says “oops! Your account is disabled” but when I go onto the web it works and let’s me login. 🤦🏻♀️😒 and yes I’ve tried to do it multiple times.
