Description
La revisión Reina-Valera ha sido el texto más utilizado por la iglesia evangélica hispanoamericana durante varias gereraciones. Su lenguaje forma parte del habla de los cristianos evengélicos, quienes han memorizado frases, versículos y pasajes enteros, en los que siempre encuentran consuelo e inspiración divina.
En 1960 la American Bible Society publicó esta revisión de la Biblia, luego de un arduo trabajo por parte de un excelente equipo de estudiosos, que adecuó el antiguo texto a la ortografía de la época, mejoró su construcción gramatical y le añadió claridad a palabras y pasajes.
