Description
Easy access to scoring systems relevant to UK emergency medicine practice. The key scoring systems at your finger-tips. Never again will you get half way through an AMT and forget the questions!
Knowing the score is only half the answer! Where applicable, each scoring system is linked to relevant national guidance such as that from NICE.
The user interface has been designed to be used at the point-of-care, keeping data entry to a minimum and alerting you as soon as you reach the threshold value of the decision rule. This now includes haptic feedback on supported devices.
Conversions by default. Just because a rule needs your patient's weight in kilograms it doesn’t mean they will know it. Every height and weight field accepts imperial or metric values and converts them for you.
The list of rules displayed can be edited so that you only see the rules you need and can display your most used items first. All hidden rules remain searchable in case you need them.

This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included.
In this version the interface has been updated to make it cleaner and easier to use. Haptic feedback has been built in to the rules so your device will vibrate when you reach the threshold for a score. You can now shake to reset a rule or conversion.

The GRACE score has been amended so it displays the score as well as the mortality risk. New scores have been added: EGSYS, Ottawa SAH rule, Lake Louise Acute Mountain Sickness score, Glasgow-Imrie criteria for acute pancreatitis.

EMUK has been totally rewritten. The key change is that you can now restrict the display of rules to only those that you use regularly. You can reorder the list to provide instant access to your most used clinical decision rules. The interface now works better and data input is faster. A number of new rules have been added, but most importantly the underlying structure has been changed so we can add new rules much quicker when users request them.

A whole new guideline reference section has been added. This provides immediate access to the UK and European guidelines you may need to access in your day-to-day practice. In addition we have added the Sgarbossa criteria for MI in LBBB and improved the ECG images.
