Description
The ODOT Basic Traffic Sign Installation Guide summarizes standards and guidelines established in the Ohio Manual for Uniform Traffic Control Devices and the ODOT Traffic Engineering Manual for the installation of traffic signs common in local agency use. It contains basic principles and images for various types of sign installation scenarios.
This guide is directed to state and local government employees, contractors, and any other entity responsible for installing traffic signs on local roadways.
