NOTE: Web browsing is slower than through a normal web browser due to relaying through the Tor anonymization network. This app is not associated with The Tor Project, but uses the principals of T.O.R., an acronym for "The Onion Router", a free anonymous browsing technology. While some functionality is available for free, some features are only available to subscribers. You can subscribe for unlimited access. These subscriptions may include weekly, monthly and annual plans. Price are equal to the value that "Apple's App Store Matrix" determines is the equivalent of the subscription price in $USD. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. the app doesn't collect any data while using it but if you want VPN correctly configured to work with Tor then you are stuck with the one preconfigured choice (stark vpn i think) which does in fact collect a bunch of your data. DOH!!! try again...

Not worth my time
Please cancel my subscription because I thought it would be a one time thing and then I would be covered for at least a year and that was not the case. I didn’t like the app so I deleted it. It wasn’t good at all. It’s a waste of time and money! I shouldn’t have to pay for something that I’m not going to use. It’s the worst app I’ve had ever downloaded and I wish I hadn’t!!!! When used with VPN (and the VPN is based in an appropriate country) this could be a good solution for Internet access. But some secure sites may not work through it (e.g., U.S. banks etc.). Quick wish list for iOS: - ability to set this browser as default in iOS (which may be a limitation of iOS), or at least be prompted which browser to use to open a website/URL (maybe this could be implemented as a content management extension to Safari on iOS [it slows multiple such extensions at the same time]?) - screen shortcut enable/disable active content for individual websites/tabs instead of only

Somewhat disturbing
I open the TOR browser and guess what I see.... a Facebook ad at the bottom. Really.... a freaking Facebook ad.... one of the most non-privacy concerned companies on the planet! This is in my TOR browser taking up valuable real estate and being stupid Facebook makes it 10x worse. I am not sure how these ads are being delivered, but sure doesn’t give me a warm and fuzzy feeling about privacy!

Look up on YT- congress calling out Google on smartphones, and American Citizens privacy! Even when your phones are off! Best Tor onion browser!
It's free, doesn't bug you with annoying ads, works great and is very easy to use. Multitab allows opening multiple sites and I really like that the whole screen is dedicated to the content for better browsing. The first time I launched it, it took about 20s to initialize but since then it works smoothly. As with any Tor browser, from one session to another speed varies depending on the various links in the chain.

When searching for the first time on a connection (even one having taken 10 minutes to finalise) clicking any link crashes the app and forces a re-handshake and load. This then happens randomly throughout your session. No idea how secure it is.

Works just like the tor browser on Linux distros, Windows etc. also comes with some security options that are not found on the desktop version or tor Note to some reviewers of this product: I do not know the glich with iOS 12 as I run iOS 11, but your issue with the chapcha not loading Is because tor blocks chapchas because they can be used to track you on the internet, look for alternative websites that contain no chapchas or you can tap the settings of tor and allow all active content, but this compromises your security.

Tob constantly crashes...
This browser used to be good but lately all it does is crash. Open a page in onion crash, open a forum crash, open a webpage on clearnet crash. All it does is crash and after crashing once it starts a crash loop where you do ANYTHING and it crashes. What good is anonymous browsing if you can’t even load a page without it crashing? Fix it please.

Y’all need to know how to use tor correctly to factually vanish your fingerprint to snooping eyes before connection to any darkweb site. If you think a mere connection to tor does so, you are leaving traces that connect back to you. Get a vpn (privately owned is most certainly best as you know what happens to the logs and other data left behind when they are yours). However Zuckerberg is proving that there is mountains more data that IS stored and sometimes sold to third parties without your knowledge or consent.
