This new way of learning is designed to help you diagnose and manage orthopaedic trauma with simple, easy to understand decision ‘Flows’ that quickly guide you to the correct diagnosis and management plan. With hundreds of unique diagrams and illustrations accompanying evidence based, clinically relevant information, OrthoFlow provides the knowledge you need for trauma and orthopaedics. Sorted! But what happens if someone asks you questions about the injury?? Don’t worry, we’ve got that covered too... In the ‘Bare Bones’ section, common and relevant conditions and principles such as Compartment Syndrome, Open Fractures, Peripheral Nerves and Fixation Principles are covered so that you can hit the ground running. In the ‘Trauma Meeting’ section, we break down each injury into the relevant Anatomy, Investigations, Classification systems, Management options, Eponymous syndromes and much more... Developed by Orthopaedic Surgeons and Emergency Physicians for all healthcare professionals who work with trauma & orthopaedic patients, this app allows you to access the decision making process of an orthopaedic specialist simply by turning on your phone. If you work with orthopaedic trauma patients in primary care, the Emergency Department, on an orthopaedic ward or in a fracture clinic, this app will provide you with quick, practical, easy to access knowledge to help you diagnose, formulate a management plan and understand the basic science of the injury you are treating. Starting with the OrthoFlow skeleton, simply select the anatomical area of interest and follow the Flow… In a few clicks you’ll have your diagnosis and an easy to understand management plan. If you are a medical student, intern, foundation doctor, surgical trainee, resident, registrar, emergency physician, nurse, physician’s assistant, nurse practitioner and you work with orthopaedic trauma… use OrthoFlow, the orthopaedic specialist in your pocket! Build 845504413v1.5.32021-11-24 15:27:56
Typo-eradication. Thanks to typo-spotter, Mark, who knows his clavicle from his humerus.
Build 842947040v1.5.22021-07-05 01:10:34
Bug extermination. Thanks to our user that pointed out a crash in the lateral malleolus flow. Happy OrthoFlowing!
Build 842813736v1.5.12021-06-25 02:14:48
Minor bug fix in the calcaneal fracture flow
Build 842564967v1.52021-06-09 08:43:27
v1.5 "Hmmm, upgrades" It's been a long couple of years in OrthoFlow Towers with the team working on our latest version. Coded from scratch (Dave knows how to do that now), the app now looks great on all device sizes, and images have been resized and improved to take advantage of those lovely big screens Apple has been making of late. You'll also find a nice new user interface that includes a search function for the trauma meeting and patient consent indexes. This update is paving the way for some great new features and future updates so watch this space and as always please give us a rating on the app store, tell your friends and colleagues about the app and get in touch (contact@orthoflow.org) if you have any comments or suggestions!
Build 819916609v1.42016-11-30 02:49:55
This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included. v1.4 "Revenge of the Gremlins" So v1.3's gremlin had friends, powerful friends, friends that moved images off centre, chopped the bottom of text from boxes, and repeatedly threw up our T&Cs every time you hit the home button. There was a rebellion. There were casualties on both sides (namely our free time), but most importantly the gremlins, and their friends, have been wiped out. Long live Orthoflow and centred images! Now get out there, fix bones, tell your friends about Orthoflow and give us an app store rating! No really, go on, give us a rating!
Build 819477840v1.32016-10-27 03:09:50
We've hunted down and (humanely) killed the gremlin causing the app to crash rather than give you juicy knowledge in the trauma meeting section of metacarpal base fractures.
Build 818263235v1.22016-07-26 00:57:28
We've performed an ORIF on the broken link for the forearm > both bones flow - thanks for your patience - we expect excellent post-op function! Management plans for clavicle fractures have been updated to allow for sending some patients home with early follow up. Other minor bits'n'bobs. Please remember to rate us on the App Store and August is almost upon us so remember to spread the word to your soon-to-be junior orthopaedic colleagues!
Build 816445635v1.12016-02-18 00:22:31
The Ortho-elves in Orthoflow Towers have been busy improving your Orthoflow experience. You'll find: - An improved user interface & navigation in our Trauma Meeting sections - We've added a classification system for Galeazzi fracture dislocations - An improved hand trauma management flow - Other minor bits and bobs to keep you sounding smart for your boss! Don't forget to rate the app on the App Store!
