A great way to manage your podcast on the go
Ever since I started using the creators app, I noticed that it is a great way to manage your podcast on the go. My favorite feature is being able to check out the analytics and Number of plays per episode. I also like being able to share each episode individually on various social media platforms to promote and distribute my show. my favorite feature overall however, is this app is 100% voiceover accessible. As a user who is blind, I like how I can do everything I need to such as promote my shows and check out my analytics without having to worry about any lack of voice over accessibility. The

Easy to use
I enjoy this because it is thus far been the most user friendly method for creating a podcast. Lets you know if there are any issues with the episode and gives you time to fix those (for example related to music usage). The metrics is also such a fun thing to see and give you a good idea of who your podcast is reaching. Just wish that they could also show the metrics for Apple Podcasts and other shared podcast distributors.

Great app!
This is a great app! I’m new to this world and don’t really know what I’m doing but for a free app to give you as many analytics as it does is nothing short of impressive. The only reason I’m dropping it down a star is I wish there was better clarity on how long people have listened a stream counts as one minute or more to my understanding, that doesn’t give me a great idea of how long people are actually consuming my podcast.
It would be nice if they recorded completed streams, but as I said before I’m new to this.

Worth it but not perfect
Honestly it’s a great app. It does do what it’s supposed to and it gets updates to try and help. My issue and why it isn’t a 5 star is the numbers are inconsistent, I can track from my phone, iPad, and computer and all will give me different information. If you’re a big podcast being off my +/- 5% isn’t a big deal but when you’re a small podcast it makes it difficult. I would and do still suggest it. Understand it’s not perfect.

Great for podcasting
I like the app overall. Design and ease of use. I will say that when it comes to sharing that’s where I kind of have a gripe with. I don’t see the option to share my podcast on my story, it’s only giving me the option to share directly to friends which is something I’m not into. I’d rather post on my story and let them see from there. Maybe idk how to operate that but just thought I’d say something just in case someone is also experiencing the same issue.

Good but bad updates
I still like this app. It's very helpful but... The entire appeal of it is gone. You used to be able to record, edit, and upload all in one place. Now you have to record and edit somewhere else. I really miss it. I also don't like how you have to go to the website to upload a video. I will give credit where credit it due though. It used to be unavailable to upload videos from your phone and now you can. But I still wish you could just upload a video from the app. Also you have to use the website to adjust your description? Good but what happened?
the app was good and def helped me launch/kick off my podcast, but WHY did yall take away the ability to record and edit in the app? it was so convenient for, especially considering that im recording off my phone. i really wish yall would bring it back, because it was a genuine help when it came to adding background music and getting good editing without leaving the app and making it time consuming. overall its a good app, but i wish yall would bring it back

I honestly loved the way anchor was before when you could actually edit your podcast within the platform. I also love that anchor partnered with riverside for the video cross over platform. I hate the fact that the editing process and rendering footage does not work and the function of sound effects and songs within the anchor app are no more. And the riverside songs are trash! It was so simple before, why can’t you guys bring this back?! Riverside isn't the most user friendly. I’m very disappointed
This app used to be a one stop shop for recording and mixing your podcasts, getting monetization, and distributing with one tap. Now it requires that you used a third party and video record your podcasts . You destroyed the freedom of this app to be able to podcast on the go . Everyone doesn’t want to use video to podcast. Love it but one thing…
So I used anchor for a year and a half and I grew my podcast so much I had 200 followers by the time I quit. I quit about a month ago but recently have been wanting to start it back up again with a friend. But now I have to have an IOS 16.0 but my phone (iPhone 6s) doesn’t update to that, and it really disappointed me because it never needed IOS 16.0 before and now I can’t use it again. Purposely making this Less User friendly isn’t what we want
I absolutely loved this app, and I’ve been able to edit and piece together my podcast with it. I don’t have loads of time to edit episodes on a laptop, so having the convenience of doing it on my phone with original music and multiple audio clips was perfect. Again, the convenience was the draw. The recent update that no longer allows editing and recording has made this absolutely horrible and I’m currently looking for a new podcast host because I’m furious stuck a divergent feature would be revived for a partnership with an even less user friendly platform “Riverside”

Fix this app
Even if you looked past the garbage decision to make it impossible to record and edit podcasts on the mobile app, it is not just flat out impossible to even listen to an episode on the mobile app as well. You can press play, but it will stop playing if you try to use another app with the podcast on in the background, or if you just lock your phone it will stop. If you try to listen to it with your phone unlocked, your phone will lock eventually and it will stop then too. So if I can’t record my podcast on this app, or listen to a podcast on this app - what is the point of this app?

Was my favorite podcast
With the new updates to Anchor, it basically kills my podcast that I have worked on for over 3 years. I do not have you normal podcast, I piece together an interview with several songs from the many musicians I have interviewed and put them all together to make a good flowing show. I don’t understand why ever since the update of the app I can’t access my account through the mobile phone app. I can access from the website no problem and even on the Ipad. The new comments layout is horrible.
I absolutely DESPISE the new comments feature. My podcast operates on community interaction, but they are now unable to say anything, since the option to comment doesn't even show anymore. All of the comments from before the update have been deleted as well.
I'm sorry to say that I'm going to delete my podcast and move to a different platform, which is a shame, since I did like the UI in general, but I just can't stay here.

Hey, I love your app. It makes it really easy to podcast. But for some reason you can’t make video episodes on mobile, and my computers internet is slow, so it would take absolutely FOREVER to make a video episode. I don’t know what problem I’m having
I’ve created and published entire episodes, and about five minutes after publishing them, they are gone like they never existed. It worked fine yesterday and the day before and I got five episodes out. Now, nothing. Maybe it has to do with starting a new season? Regardless the episodes the app told me were published were removed from even the app so I’d have to make it all over again.
Update: despite changing my password yesterday, now I can’t sign in. This app is way too broken for me to even want to continue using.

Just one small problem
The app is amazing, everything is there and you can invite people to do a podcast with you. You can customize stuff and have amazing fun with it. The only problem i had was stopping the recording. I would hold it down or just press “stop recording” it wouldn’t.. as much as i would it wouldn’t stop recording. Me and my friend recorded at least 50 minutes and i was waiting a few seconds to see if it had to process it to stop but it wasn’t. I really hope this gets fixed but for now I’m not using the app until further notice.

Software needs an update!
There needs to be a way to take out background noise through the episode. There also needs to be a way to make the transitions between clips( different talking audio clips, or when it’s time for music) smooth. The transition between different clips added to the episode is super blocky and takes away from the over all quality. Basically the software needs some updates. Other than that it’s a great platform!

Great app, room to grow
I used this app when it was Anchor. It’s great, but as I continue to look at editing for my podcasts, I noticed some things that are missing from the app that would make creating and editing on the platform much easier. An option to take clips and just combine them together seamlessly rather than queue them (which can cause pauses during the load up time) would be one of the improvements I could see as very beneficial.
Also, being able to splice the clips and insert a separate clip at certain points as a way of editing/updating previously recorded things like trailers would be super benefici

I’ve had nothing but issues with the app for the IPad. For whatever reason, there are so many issues with the app when using my iPad, but those issues don’t exist on the iPhone. The newest problem is the app not letting me save any of my edits. Yes, I can go into my phone to do the editing but the screen is so much smaller and it takes so much longer to edit on the iPhone compared to using my iPad. Editing tools are not reliable
When I try to edit my audio, the sound of my voice is not aligned with the image of the waveform, so I have to guess where to make the cuts. Even after I replay what I have trimmed within the “edit audio” function and it sounds correct, it saves it badly and it comes out wrong after the save so the audio sounds glitchy and choppy and words and sentences are cut off. It’s very annoying. I can spend an hour editing just to have to start all over again. The editing tool is reliable only 30% of the time. Can’t connect with co host
Concept is great. But my co host and I keep trying to join and it doesn’t work. It’s not a Wi-Fi issue. I think it’s because we are both logged into the same account with the apps on our phone; but I don’t see why that should be an issue if this is marketed as being able to co host from a distance.
Also, the email verification keeps getting sent to our email every 30 minutes even though we haven’t asked for one and keep repeatedly verifying the email.
Also we can’t click on the menu button to log out, even though we have uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

New feature suggestion.
I am new to pod casting and this app has made it so easy to jump in! But, for the love of Jesus…. Will you PLEASE add a cue to deleting asking are you sure so we can stop the action or make a way to get it back that was done by accident by clicking on the wrong place. I just did that and it is a terrible feeling and I wish there was a safe guard or a way to get it back. Yes, my fault but it sure would be nice to have that feature… so someone else doesn’t have the same frustrating, sick feeling I have right now.
